Background
Nova Interitus is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networks between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. and blockchain potential, for our betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the potential of humanity, if it is to be saved from itself. And the question of whether it needs to be.
Speculative fiction has always been one of my favorite genres. I’m always curious about different depictions of our future world. A future of past events. It’s like reverse history. The what is to come.
The first chapter is based on a dream I had in 2005. It’s been waiting, and it unleashed this complete vision of a future world. Nova is presented here as a collation of recovered files from the documentarian, Yunipter. I have tried to put them in a compelling order, so it makes sense as a story.
Nova Interitus begins in the years 2063, and 2046. The town and much of the nation are in disarray years before the Great Event.
